"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

How many of you have researched where you came from? It's pretty exciting, but overwhelming as well. A relative of mine is part of the Daughters of the American Revolution and thinks my mom and I should join. I learned I may be related to actor Harold Eugene Vermilyea who was in a great horror movie I enjoyed called "Sorry, wrong number". And I was told I have ancestors who came here on the Mayflower, but I can't find anything to support that. It's really fun looking into things though. I love looking at old photographs even if I'm not related to the people.
